What
to Expect as a New Member of Clovia:
|
|
|
Every Wednesday night, you will have new member meetings
to conduct business such as fundraising, house projects,
parties, house gifts, etc.
|
|
|
Your new member class will organize a sneak. The object:
to get your entire class out of the house without
the full members realizing it!
|
|
|
As a new member you get to pick a full member of Clovia
who you would like to be your big sis. She is a special
friend to have fun with and who has a listening ear
when you want to talk.
|
|
|
Your New Member Trainer will give you four to five
tests and one final over house principles, history,
government and other important information about Clovia.
|
|
|
As a new member, you need to maintain a 2.75 grade
point average and receive no F's or you will not become
a full member.
|
|
|
New members must turn in 4 study
hours per week and complete a mid-semester grade check as organized by the Scholarship Chairman.
|
|
|
You must complete a scrapbook and pledge paddle. All
the full members of Clovia must sign your paddle.
|
|
|
At the beginning of the second semester, if you participated
fully in the new member program, met the G.P.A. requirements
and receive a three-fourths majority vote from the
full member chapter, you will be initiated into the
full member chapter!!
